A word from Program Director Natasha Smith

Let's face it, we live in a world of information overload! As a parent, exploring options for your child’s first early learning experience can be a daunting task. For every expert who holds one preschool model dear, there is another who is equally passionate about an opposing model. Thankfully for us, we have built our program on the premises of God’s Word which has stood the test of time and has reigned victorious throughout all generations.

At The King’s Academy Preschool, God’s Word guides our selection of meaningful early learning experiences, it guides the way we interact with and relate with young children and their families, and it guides the way we build positive, engaging environments for our little ones. We understand that young children learn within the context of relationships; we therefore focus on providing meaningful experiences within the context of loving, responsive relationships.

God’s Word also guides our thoughts and principles. It is my solemn belief that every child is created in the image of God. Hence, I believe that every child has infinite value and worth imputed into him by God. I believe that each child has a purpose that only he/she was created to fulfill in life. It is my sincere belief that children are created with intrinsic intelligence, creativity, curiosity, and a desire to relate to and with others. Our emphasis on meaningful early learning experiences coupled with our focus on intentional, nurturing, and responsive relationships allows us to connect with young children in positive and meaningful ways.

At The King’s Academy Preschool, God’s Word is the cornerstone of everything we do! Our program provides a haven wherein your child will be taught God’s love and will be reminded daily of his value in Christ Jesus! Meet Our Center Directors

Tricia Scala - Director, Palm Beach Gardens Center

Greetings! My name is Mrs. Tricia, and I am the Center Director at The King's Academy Preschool - Gardens Campus.
I love working with children and have been with The King’s Academy Preschool for 7 years. I have my Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials and Director credentials. I have been blessed to have experienced working in various positions at the King’s Academy including being a PS2's teacher.
I have been married for 18 years and we have a 16-year-old son, who also attends The King's Academy and is in 10th grade this year.
I am honored to be partnering with your family and I look forward to our school year together!
Courtney McNomee - Director, Loxahatchee Center

My name is Courtney McNomee and I am the Director at The King's Academy Preschool in Loxahatchee. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Pre-K Primary Education and have been teaching since 2010.
I have been with The King's Academy Preschool for four years. Prior to coming to The King's Academy Preschool, I taught first grade and special education.
My husband and I have been married for nine years. We have three daughters, Raven, Cami, and Caroline. We enjoy cooking out and swimming in the pool with our girls on the weekends. I am also a Life Group Leader at Life Church.
Kristen Valenti - Director, Greenacres Center

Hello! My name is Mrs. Kristen Valenti, I am delighted to be the Center Director at the TKA Greenacres location.
I enjoy working with children and feel blessed to be heading into my 10th year as a part of The King’s Academy Preschool. During my nine years, I have been fortunate to experience being a PS2's teacher, a PS3's teacher and a center director.
I have a Child Development Credential (CDA) and a Director Credential.
I have been married for 14 years and have an 11-year old son who attends The King’s Academy. We enjoy spending time with family, kayaking, and taking our 2 dogs to the park.
